  • Abstract
    3D GIS is of increasing interest in the GIS area. The conventional 3D GISs had defects that could not handle the diverse 3D spatial data. However, the application developers want to develop the 3D GIS applications regardless of the formats. In this paper, we present a data provider that has a standard interfaces for the 3D GIS. The developers can use the various 3D data through the data provider without modifying applications. And, this data provider complies with the specification for OLE/COM published by OGC
