Abstract
A reconfigurable slotted patch antenna, with the slot filled with VO2, is designed to take advantage of the insulator-to-metal transition of the material. The antenna presents a change in resonant frequency from 9.3 GHz, when the VO2 acts as a conductor, to 11.53 GHz, when the VO2 acts as an insulator.
