Abstract :
In this work experimental corona current data from coaxial arrangements are presented for impulse voltages, within the lightning impulse range. The data available are statistically analysed and are useful either for testing corona models or for a better understanding of the behaviour of the corona effect since the corona current shows more details than the traditional Q×V diagrams
