  • Abstract
Medical thermography employs imaging techniques in the infrared spectrum for medical diagnosis. Very often, the cooling or warming course of human skin has to be studied, resulting in huge piles of image files that occupy lots of memory space. A new compression technique, with predictive ability, has therefore been devised for storing the files more economically to upgrade the effectiveness and efficiency of medical thermography. This method has also been found to be universally applicable to optical image-sequence recording in optical flow analysis.<>
