Abstract
There was elaborated the discharge development model based on particle-in-cell method taking into the account volume charge and collisions by method Monte-Carlo. The simulation of the initial stage of gas discharge on conditions that E/P>;1kV/cm/Torr showed that in the interval of ~10 ps electron beam of run-away electrons was formed nearby cathode. This beam consists of electrons emitted from cathode and electrons arising as a result of gas ionization. It was showed that duration of the beam of run-away electrons nearby cathode mainly depend on outer electrical field screening by plasma and was equal to 10-20 ps.
