Abstract
Phenomena taking place into an electromagnetic shield are complex (absorption, reflection, transmission). They are determined by material/shield macroscopic parameters (ε, μ, σ), its thickness, radiation´s frequency and incidence angle. The paper deals with an original method for visualization and measurement of absorption, reflection and transmission by means of laser beam. This method has the advantage of simplicity and is dedicated to universities teaching EMC because of its suggestiveness.
