Abstract :
Scattering and diffraction of a complex-source beam (CSB) by a wedge is treated by means of a suitable multipole expansion of the field. Numerical results for the total as well as for the scattered fields have been evaluated for both Dirichlet and Neumann boundary conditions. The scattered field computed from the multipole expansion has been successfully compared to the classical Sommerfeld solution.
