  • Abstract
    We study numerically VHF / UHF radio wave propagation in realistic tunnel environments by solving a vectorial parabolic equation (PE) for the transverse electric field with finite-difference techniques. Examples demonstrate the potential of this method and under-line its expected advantages compared with existing techniques.
