Abstract
Owing to the narrow distance in the Doppler frequency domain between slow speed targets and ground clutter, it is difficult to suppress effectively clutter without attenuating target signals. A solution is to adopt the recursive MTI filter. This paper presents a flexible design method of this kind of filter. It not only adaptively adjusts filter parameters according to real clutter conditions, but also can prevent slow speed targets from attenuation. A simulation example proves the effectiveness of the design method
