Abstract :
At TRLabs, the photonics group is working on projects that have as their goal the demonstration of novel materials and integrated devices for optical networks. In this paper, we discuss two projects that involve the control and processing of optical signals by grating-based devices as well as the investigation of chalcogenide glasses as promising material systems for integrated optics.
