  • Abstract
The application of CFD is more and more extensive in the research field of district environment. The way of intuitional expression is also tend to more and more recognized by citizens and city decision makers. CFD simulation and its superiority for district planning and design, its application for residential district atmospheric thermal environmental evaluation and improvement in district planning and design is introduced and discussed in this paper. A practical example of CFD simulation and evaluation for district planning and design is also presented. The significance and prospect of CFD simulation and evaluation for district planning and design is also demonstrated.
