Abstract :
In this paper, a moderm 60GHz radiolink designed and optimised for a non-co-ordinated 58GHz band will be introduced. It will be shown that technology at 60GHz is mature for volume producible, reliable and low lifetime cost products. It will also be shown that to design a modem 60GHz radiolink it requires to take into account many other design issues than just 60GHz technology.
