Abstract
Broadband multiservice wireless access (BBWLL) systems have been expected to contribute successfully to the last mile problem in the frame of liberalisation and deregulation. Nevertheless, some specific wireless related boundary conditions have to be taken into account. The paper summarises those prerequisites with a special emphasis on millimetric technologies.
