Topics like multimodal identification, multi-factor authentication, identity management, service recommendation and personalisation, as well as trust establishment, are in the scope of the “HBB-Next” FP7 project consortium research activities. The achieved project results and outputs are used for elaboration of contributions which are continuously submitted, by members of the requirements working group of HbbTV and will be used in the definition process of next specification of HbbTV version 2.0. Some aspects of this process will be also presented in the paper.
