Abstract
We develop a numerical observer design method for an affine system. We present an example of the state estimation of chemical reactor using the numerical algorithm. If an observer for a nonlinear system is designed then we consider it as a dynamical system with inputs. We show that it is possible to design a stabilizing feedback for an observer instead of the original system and this feedback also stabilizes the original system. Example of an observer-based stabilization of a desired state for a chemical reactor is considered.
