Abstract :
The taper and connecting-rod mechanisms are used as force-enhancing mechanisms of drill chuck. The structures and working principles of the two kinds of force-enhancing mechanisms were introduced in this paper. With the dynamics theories of multi-body system, the virtual sample machines of two kinds of force-enhancing mechanisms were set up in ADAMS and carried out dynamic simulation analysis of function. Key parameters and their curves were got by the simulation. According to the results of simulation, the transmission characteristics of the two kinds of mechanisms were obtained in order to provide basics for the design and selection of force-enhancing mechanisms of drill chuck.
