Abstract :
This paper presents an original method to extract the ridges of parabolic frequency modulated signals. We use mathematical morphology elements and wavelet transforms given by the "wavelet" toolbox of the Matlab program. Also included are practical results obtained for generated parabolic modulated chirps when three different types of wavelets are used.
