Abstract :
In modern digital image reproduction field, interpolation arithmetic plays an important role in image conversion and its efficiency directly affects the image reproduction accuracy. In this paper, we choose four typical colorful images represent gradient, shadow tone, midtone and light tone respectively. Different interpolation methods have been applied on these four images to measure the different influences when the images are rotated. We mainly research the relationship among different kinds of interpolation arithmetic and the changes on the images´ color. Several interesting phenomena are got and some valuable conclusions are obtained from the experiments.
