Abstract :
This paper describes the design of a self-tuning feedback controller based on the pole-placement algorithm. The controller is designed for a composite AC-DC system and aims to improve the transient performance of the AC system during disturbances. Results are obtained from computer simulation runs using a software package known as PSASP
