Abstract
A concept of data organization and distributed processing in seismic monitoring networks is presented. The lower level of processing involves the realization of sequential algorithms for the processing of seismic signals in real-time, and at the upper level, postprocessing within the computational network is performed. The network technology of signal processing is illustrated by solving important problems of geophysics.
