Abstract
This paper studies the synthesis problem of an extremal automatic control system for a nonlinear time-varying dynamic plant with the extreme output characteristic. It is shown, that under certain conditions it can be transformed to the usual stabilization task. The paper proposes a method of the problem decision by means of using the localization principle approach.
