Abstract :
A new practical of wide-slot antenna cut in the ground plane with H-shaped microstrip-line-fed is proposed. Two different size of slots are cut in each side of the ground plane in order to generate new band. The antenna covers 780 MHz -990 MHz and 1.69 GHz-2.65 GHz (VSWR les 2). So it can apply for AMPS, GSM, DCS, PCS, UMTS and WLAN. The peak gain of this antenna is 2.5 dB in 900 MHz and 5.6 bB in 2.0 GHz.
