Abstract :
RF transistor generates distortion signals in addition carrier signals on amplifing process beca-use of the nonlinear characteristics of transistor. A compensation circuit is needed in order to reduce interference to neighboring channel by distortion signals generated in the nonlinear RF transistor. In this paper, predistortion linearizing design method that generates predistortion signals using frequency up-conversion mixing mechanism is proposed. The proposed method improves C/I ratio of an HPA system by 17dB (@Po=29dBm/tone) with two tones at 2139.985MHz and 2140.015MHz.
