Abstract
RFID systems require anti-collision procedures to enable a reader to communicate simultaneously with multiple tags. In this paper, we propose a new anti-collision procedure which uses schedules to coordinate tags to transmit their IDs. These schedules are generated by synthesizing the time slot selections of tags, and the tags collided in current schedule are arranged to transmit their IDs in the different groups of time slots in the next schedule. Simulations are conducted and the results show that this procedure can significantly improve the performance for recognizing tags.
