Abstract :
The complementary rose curve resonator (n-CRCR) is used in design of microstrip stop-band filters. Nth order CRCR´s geometries are looped contours with a cosine-shape perimeter. The stop-band microstrip lines based on the complementary rose curve resonator (CRCRs) are achieved by patterning the ground plane of the microstrip under the conductor trace. With the order of CRCRs, the loading effect of the complementary resonators on the microstrip transmission line is controlled. Higher order CRCRs allows more compactness of the design while compromising the relative bandwidth of the stop-band structure. The simulation result verifies the configurability of the configurability if the design for specific size and bandwidth. In addition, numerical analysis shows generation of wide and deep band rejection for multiple frequencies.
