Abstract :
With some injection techniques for use in cellular-phone amplifiers, there is a limit to distortion compensation. This paper proposes a new predistortion technique that injects third-and fifth-order distortion components in the base-band block. By using this technique, the distortion-compensation limit can be raised. This paper also examines the distortion compensation performance of W-CDMA PA and the possibility of applying a new low-voltage, high-capacity battery.
