Abstract :
In this paper, a model building for the EM scattering from simple 2D targets above PM sea surface using the Radial Basis Function (RBF) Artificial Neural Network (ANN) was presented. It is based on the analyses of the basal theory of ANN. The database contains a finite number of samples of EM scattering data obtained with the help of the application of the hybrid method to the composite model. A portion of the database is used to train the network and the rest is used to test the performance of ANN model. This work aims to solve the EM scattering from 2D targets above PM sea surface by using the ANN model.
