Abstract :
In application of Earned Value Management (EVM), compared with Planed Value (PV), there is always deviation in Earned Value (EV) or Actual Cost (AC). It is proved that correction project depending on deviation will increase unnecessary spending rather than profit. This paper aims at the effects of deviation of deferent task for project, and conducts an investigation into the warning mechanism and the method of deviation control for EVM.
