Abstract
The high atmospheric attenuation of V-band millimeter wave, make it only application in outer space and the short-range detection. The FMCW short-range radar systems in this band have more than one non-linear subsystems, some of whom will interfere the system with error, or even wrong. To this end, the first non-linear analysis of the system, focusing on the effect of mixer and VCO on difference frequency signal spectrum, and the interference on ranging. Based on an analysis of the actual collected signal spectrum, use a narrow-band filter to eliminate interference. In the test, the target can be correctly detected out, the difference frequency spectrum is correct, the result meet the design requirements.
