Abstract :
Multi-mode polymer optical waveguides using heat resistant and low-loss fluorinated polymers were demonstrated. We fabricated 125-cm-long optical waveguides and estimated the propagation loss at 1310/1550 nm. The reliability and the thermal stability were also evaluated.
