Abstract :
In this paper, the notion of orthogonal nonseparable trivariate wavelet packets which is the generalization of orthogonal univariate wavelet packets, is introduced. A new procedure for constructing them is presented. Their orthogonality property is characterized by the filter bank theory and time-frequency analysis. Three orthogonality formulas concerning these wavelet packets are established.
