The management database platform construction for high consequence areas (HCAs) of oil/gas pipelines

To establish a management database for HACs of oil/gas pipeline is one of the important tasks in our country. A large amount of data are needed to recognize and manage the HAC of pipeline´s, including pipeline design, construction, operation, maintenance etc. Here, database´s composition and requirements are analyzed. As a part of HCAs management software, the database enables the software to achieve some functions better such as HCAs distinguishing, evaluation and management of oil and gas pipeline. Therefore, the scientific decisions for the daily management and failure treatment of pipeline are provided to the related function departments.
