Abstract :
We introduce a novel FDTD algorithm for the nonlinear three-dimensional simulation of ferrite loaded microwave circulators. The effectiveness of the method is demonstrated by the nonlinear analysis of microwave circulator structures and comparisons with linear modeling approaches. The influence of nonlinear effects on the circulator performance is examined and evaluated.
