Abstract :
The Degree of automation in rural distribution network is very lower, so the fault location work mostly depends on analysis about trouble call information. The paper analyzes uncertain factors in trouble call information and fault inference process, applies Bayesian inference to build fault location reasoning model, design the reasoning algorithm. The algorithm is implemented in rural distribution network GIS system. Lots of simulation examples to the actual networks show that the algorithm is efficient. Bayesian reference can be used in rural distribution network´s fault location.
