Abstract
River system is important corridor with hierarchical structure, and has the function of ecology, recreation, historical and the cultural protection. Its material flow, energy flow, species circulate are flowed and exchanged through corridor network. Corridor network is effective way to maintain the healthy movement of landscape flow, and its function and network is hierarchical. In the riverside hilly area, the terrain is the primary factor affecting river system pattern, the area of riverside and the headstream of river branch is biological shield sensitive area of water source. Differentiating rank in river landscape could make clear not only the importance of various river landscapes in integral development, but also their function network and their primary and secondary relations of various river courses. In this study, according to the specific characteristics of hilly areas and the corridor network theory, and based on the characteristics analysis about natural ecological environment, cultural heritage, water environment and tourism of Jiangning county in Nanjing city, and take the integrity, continuity, non-uniformity, ecological rank, water affinity, public participation as the design ideas, to constructs the ecological protection frame dominated by river corridor skeletons and supplemented by other green corridor, and distinguished the primary and secondary relations of corridor and the ecology node in network, proposed the plan protection strategy for recreation and the cultural heritage corridor, and discussed the water system landscape divisional design of research area based on the corridor theory.
