Abstract :
This paper discusses an selective ant colony optimization algorithm. The proposed algorithm introduces the exclusive mechanism which utilizes the static evaluation of ACO. It reduces not only the calculation time, but also the total number of steps for the selection, while keeping the quality of solutions. Simulation results using benchmark data prove the validity of the proposed algorithm.
