Abstract :
Electromagnetic gear is used to transfer power through magnetic field which comes from the electrical coils installed on bearing. The input current may be used to drive the change of the output loads by adjusting on time. This paper has set up the dynamic model of the electromagnetic gear and deduced the transfer function which the electric current is input and the torque is output. According to the principle of the electromagnetic gear transmission system, a pole-zero placement self-tuning control algorithm was designed. At last dynamic Simulink was given. The result shows that the control system of electromagnetic gear transmission can adjust the input electric current to load change in real-time, which makes the dynamic behavior improve greatly.
