Abstract :
A new method of DF (direction finding) using spatial spectrum estimate technology is proposed. Based on the covariance matrix obtained by the weight perturbation algorithm, we propose to use a single port receiver for spatial spectrum estimate DF. In principle, the proposed method is adapted for any eigenstructure algorithm. The computer simulation about spatial smoothing algorithm is made. The simulating result shows that the proposed is efficient and very important to the practical usage.
