Abstract
By employing the linear-feedback method and the adaptive adjustment for gain strength, two identical single mode laser Lorenz systems achieved chaotic synchronization with different initial values. In this process, only one state variable of the master system is used to drive the slave system. The asymptotical stability of the error system at the origin was also proved via Lyapunov function method. Then a simple laser communication scheme has been proposed based on the above synchronization technique of chaos. Finally, the feasibility and the effectiveness of the proposed secure communication scheme were illustrated through numerical simulations.
