Abstract :
A comprehensive analytical model for the description of ATM networks is applied with the aim of investigating the performance of different routing strategies. The comparison is based on the accurate evaluation, at each node of the network, of the cell loss probability and the queueing delay, whose values must satisfy suitable requirements
