Abstract :
We have made a study on the matrix-rotor induction motor. Using the three dimensional finite element method (3-D FEM) on the parallel computing system composed of 8 PCs, the effects of the number of bars of the rotor core and the length of the secondary conductor on the torque and loss characteristics were numerically clarified in a practical time. In this paper, we investigate the motor in detail from the point of view of combination of the number of bars of the rotor core and the length of the secondary conductor.
