  • Abstract
This paper presents a futuristic and eco-friendly idea that couples a GSM communicating system with Wireless Power Transmission (WPT). The WPT is made through microwave propagation at a particular frequency in free space. The Transmitting units comprise of Ground Stations at high grounds. A rectifying antenna (Rectenna) coupled electric vehicle is the receiving unit which receives these signals and store charge enabling a non-stop, on the run charging. The Line of Sight (LOS) between these two units is maintained by the GSM system which is installed in the vehicle that connects some more Ground Stations located nearby the vehicles location. By this way, a circular region with the receiving end at the center and the Ground Stations at the periphery is formed and the signal is strengthened. So, the charging is done without needing to stop the vehicle.
