  • Abstract
    This paper describes an improved multi-mesh modification method for the three-dimensional finite element method (3-D FEM), which can simulate the dynamic characteristics of electrical devices with long strokes. The availability of the method is clarified through the dynamic characteristics analysis of a circuit breaker with oil dashpot.
