  • Abstract
Ultra-wideband (UWB) communications technology is a kind of new indoor high speed transmission wireless communication technology. When the multi-users share the same channel, the complex indoor environment of multi-path propagation will seriously deteriorates communication performance. This paper uses a new Time Reversal (TR) technology for UWB systems, for the TR has temporal and spatial focus characteristics. The signals are pre-coded after transmitting, and the channel characteristics are used as the pre-code facts. Thus the channel itself becomes a filter fulfill the temporal and spatial focus characteristics of TR technique. Meanwhile the adaptive filtering can be observed. Simulation results show that it reduces the Bits Error Rate (BER) under the circumstance of indoor multi-user with serious multipath.
