Abstract
Multisensor data fusion seeks to combine data from multiple sensors to perform inferences that may not be possible from a single sensor alone. The two main processes in multisensor data fusion system are the tracking and data fusion algorithms. A new hierarchical algorithm for the multisensor data fusion is proposed in the paper. The realization architecture for the new track fusion equations is also presented. The simulation results included in the paper indicate that the method is effective to the multisensor multitarget tracking problem
