Abstract :
In this paper, we report a traditional Fabry-Pérot resonator antenna, which consists of a frequency selective surface (FSS) as the cover, a rectangle patch as the radiator, and an electric conductor as the reflecting plate. The total dimensions of the antenna sample are 90 mm×90 mm×20 mm. Measurements show that this antenna feature the high gain, low side-lobe-level (SLL), high ratio of front-to-back radiation, and relative low profile in structure.
