  • Abstract
The absorbing boundary conditions (ABCs) are essential to terminate the computational space when the finite difference time-domain (FDTD) method is applied to analyze electromagnetic (EM) problems. In this paper, we used two kinds of ABCs to calculate effective dielectric constant of a microstrip. The comparison of these results has shown the advantage and disadvantage of these two ABCs
