Characterization of transient and CW disturbances induced in telephone subscriber lines

At the time the investigations started the authors knew that the EMC Working Group of the ZVEI in Germany had already made some progress with collecting data in their country. Therefore, it was decided to carry out at least the same measurements in the Netherlands. By doing so, there is the possibility of comparing the results obtained in both countries and adding to the collected data. These measurements as well as some additional ones are outlined. The measuring results are discussed, and where possible, the results are compared and combined with results obtained by the ZVEI
