Abstract
A simple bipolar monolithic reference voltage source is described. The design uses a bandgap cell as the reference for a series regulator to produce a voltage level that is tolerant of temperature, supply, and loading variations. The circuit consumes very little power and occupies minimal chip area. Laser trim provisions are included for on-chip adjustment
