Abstract :
Multiple fork-like electromagnetic band-gap (EBG) structure as artificial magnetic conductors (AMC) have been investigated in this paper. Double and triple fork-like are examined to achieve an in-phase reflection at a lower frequency compared to a conventional fork-like element of the same size. Furthermore, the presented structures also have provided an additional degree of freedom to adjust the AMC´s performance. Therefore, the triple fork-like EBG structure is applied to design a new reconfigurable EBG structure.
